“CELTIC CHOICE”
For the Advanced Dancer.
The latest technology in Irish Dance Shoes. Celtic Choice have no seam which reduces friction on toes. The shoes have a split sole design and consists of special arch stitching which emphasizes the dancers natural arch. All shoes are fitted poron insoles for cushioning impact absorption on the heel and metatarsal areas. Celtic Choice are designed with refined heels which hug the shape of the heel not allowing for any access room in these areas.
Irish Dance Shoes are required for levels Beginner through Advanced.
The recommended Soft Shoe for girl’s is “Fays” Platinum Suede Sole.
For Beginner level boy’s, we recommend the Capezio Jazz Shoe (available through Fays) and for the Advanced level Boy’s, Fay’s Reel Shoe.
Irish Dance Hard Shoes for levels Intermediate Through Advanced, the “Ultra Flexi Black Suede Sole” from Fays is recommended.

It is important that the fit of your dance shoe is tight & snug and the shoe shows a clear point without any extra material at the toe when the foot is arched.
We also recommend that you purchase round laces for your shoes. The round laces tie tighter and seldom come untied.

Shadow grey sleeveless tank leotard, embroidered with the SAL dance company logo. Motionwear's Sweetheart Neckline Tank Leotard has a low back that beautifully displays the dancer's elegant back. A flattering sweetheart neckline enhances the collarbone and neck lines. Wide straps remain secure for confidence in every move. Skin-tone shelf bra of ultra soft Meryl Lycra in Large Child and all Adult sizes offers adequate support for bust sizes up to C cup. The ballet cut leg openings are designed to be comfortable, flattering and to stay put. Offered in Motionwear Silkskyn: a high-tech Tactel Spandex. It has a buttery soft feel with comfortable, yet firm stretch. Specially engineered yarns give it superior breathability and moisture wicking. Excellent shrink and fade resistance.
Body-Wrappers total STRETCH tights in "theatrical pink,"
either in convertible style, or with small hole cut at base of foot so that tights can be worn footless.
Optional: Motionwear silksyn flat waist shorts, with 1" inseam child, 1 1/2" inseam adults (7135) in shadow grey.
Optional: For larger bust sizes, dancebra with clear straps ONLY.
As always, no cover-ups of any kind will be permitted during class, including shorts, tee shirts or sweatshirts (optional Motionwear shorts 7135 are the only exception). SAL warm-ups and additional clothing must be removed at start of class. Jewelry should be removed before class and hair should be tied back neatly. Leotards and tights should be clean, well-fitting, and in good repair. Torn tights should be replaced. No undergarments should be visible when dressed for class, including bra-straps.

The heel stiffeners have been reduced to avoid blisters. The Ultra Lights are also made from more lightweight and flexible materials enabling toe stands from time of purchase. We recommend ordering the Ultra Lights a half size smaller than your regular shoes size for a tighter fitting.
