Founded by Deirdre Lowry in 1998
The Solas An Lae Concert Series was introduced in 2015 as a unique in-house musical & dance performance showcase that presented internationally acclaimed traditional and contemporary musical artists.
Notable artist included Ronan Ó Snadaígh, from the band Kila. Celebrated Irish Fiddler and original member of the legendary Bothy Band, Kevin Burke. Gaelic singer/songwriter and frontman of the band The Hothouse Flowers, Liam Ó Maonlaí. Legendary Uillean Piper, Paddy Keenan. Irish Singer/Songwriter Lisa Lambe supported by Peter Ó Toole-Fiachna Ó Braonáin of the Hothouse Flowers. Multi Instrumentalist and member of the musical/dance performance RÉ, Matui Ó Cassaide & Eoghan Ó Ceannabháin. And celebrated sean-nós singer and traditional instrumentalist, Diomnic Mac Giolla Bhríde.
